Two people were killed in a crash in Garland on Saturday morning, according to NBC DFW. The accident occurred at about 1 a.m. at the intersection of Cornell Drive and North Yale Drive after a speeding black sedan ran a stop sign. The sedan then crashed into another vehicle, killing the driver and passenger of the first vehicle. A third passenger and the driver from the second sedan were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. Police are investigating the accident, including trying to determine whether alcohol was a factor.
